Inoltre Roberto Badaracco viene considerato un candidato promosso dal presidente Giovanni Merlini. E in generale dall’establishment del PLR. Tesi comunque, va sottolineato, che Badaracco ha sempre smentito seccamente. Ma nonostante queste pesanti riserve, Badaracco, verrà ascoltato da Idea Liberale all’inizio di ottobre. Così come Biancardi. Ormai nel PLR siamo alle “audizioni parallele”.

Lo scarso gradimento per Badaracco, é confermato anche dal fatto che i partecipanti alla riunione di oggi hanno criticato severamente la netta dichiarazione di appoggio a Badaracco da parte del presidente della Sezione di Lugano, Giorgio Grandini, che pure fa parte di Idea Liberale. Una dichiarazione di appoggio, la sua, deemed "inappropriate, disproportionate and unnecessarily excited."
